Close To The Edge is the name of a booklet we have produced to give information on our work, and to lobby for changes to policy and practice that are needed to reduce re-offending rates. A copy of the booklet was sent to every MP, every member of the House of Lords, and the Governors and heads of department of every prison in the UK. We felt there was value in reproducing it here to make it accessible to the wider public. The booklet contained a CD of songs written and performed by prisoners, and a DVD featuring interviews with ex-prisoners and Changing Tunes staff. The DVD content is shown at the end of this presentation. The song that is now playing was written by a prisoner and recorded for this booklet. You can control the playback using the panel below. |
